The Division of Public Health announced on Thursday that a Delaware resident has died as a result of the coronavirus.

We’re told the individual is a 66-year-old male Sussex County resident, however he passed away while he was hospitalized out of state. The man reportedly had underlying health conditions and was critically ill.

The source of his exposure has not been confirmed.

As of Thursday morning, there have been a total of 130 lab-confirmed cases in the state. For the latest up-to-date information, click here.
